Error Delivery Failures
Events that fail to deliver are retried automatically for up to 1000 times. You can see what failures have occured on the Event Delivery Failures section of your connector.
Here are some possible reasons events might fail to deliver
- The credentials of the salesforce user used in the connector have changed or expired
- No mapping has been configured for the subscribed event
- The event endpoint configured for the connector is wrong
- Salesforce returned a non successful status code from the event endpoint
Alert Emails
Not only can you find out about event delivery issues in the UI you are also notified via email. To subscribe to the alerts do the following:
- Once a Connector has been selected, under your Connector’s name click on Alert Emails.
- Click on Add Email button.
- In the Add Email dialog, specify the email address and click Add Email.
- Repeat the steps above if you wish to subscribe more email addresses.
An alert email will be sent once a day if there on going event delivery issues.
This setting applies for a selected Connector only, therefore repeat the subscription steps if you wish to be automatically notified about synchronisation errors occurred with other Connectors.

Test Connection to Salesforce
You can validate the connection between Salesforce Sales Cloud Connector
and your Salesforce instances by using Test Connection functionality.
- Navigate to My Connectors under Connectors, find your Connector in the table and click on it.
- On the Salesforce Basic Information page, click on the Test Connection button.
- Thereupon, the Salesforce credentials and URL will be validated.
